Dear Friends,
Cruising on these spectacular Celebrity Cruise ships is the most wonderful way to travel in comfort and ease and well-being and excellence. Our cruises provide exposure to the best things in the world and open doors for even more personal exploration of our world—if you choose!
I love getting on-board, unpacking one time only, settling in, and then discovering all of the delicious rendezvous that being together onboard provides. I love the extended hours we have with Abraham in the ship theater and the new insights and clarity that always erupts because we have the luxury of more time to pursue ideas.
New experiences! New thoughts! New evolution! New life! New me! Every time!
This cruise is especially exciting because we’ve never done this itinerary before. This is a delicious mix of new ports along with some of our favorite stops in Italy and Greece. This Adriatic coast (which we have not been to before) is known to be one of the most beautiful areas of the Mediterranean.
With our love,
Esther
(and Abraham and Jerry)

10 Night Cruise Itinerary
Celebrity Cruise Line’s Reflection
Celebrity Cruises has been voted “the World’s Best Large Ship Cruise Line”
by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler.
Ports of Call and Cruising Highlights
Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
As Rome’s seaport, Civitavecchia is the gateway for excursions to the “Eternal City”. Here the ancient capital of the western world and the center of Christianity for nearly 2,000 years spreads out before you in all its glory. You can spend extra time before or after the cruise and discover some of the most famous churches, monuments, and fountains in the entire world. While in Rome, you can walk in the footsteps of emperors, have coffee in Renaissance piazzas and see contemporary art all in one afternoon.
Corfu, Greece
Known as the “Emerald Island” because of its lush greenery and breathtaking beauty, Corfu is one of the hidden treasures of the Mediterranean. The second largest of the seven Ionian Islands, Corfu is just 368 square miles. Possessing an intense culture and unparalleled coastline, the island has provided endless inspiration for many artists and literary figures. Tour the Achilleion Palace, built by the Empress Elisabeth of Austria in 1891 and view her breathtaking gardens as well as a spectacular panoramic view of the Ionian Sea. This Palace also houses the Terrace of the Muses, which was built as a tribute to the nine muses of Greek mythology.
Kotor, Montenegro
Kotor is a fortified town on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast, in a bay near the limestone cliffs of Mt. Lovcen. This is a city steeped in tradition and history, with remarkable scenic views. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the old city was built between the 12th and 14th centuries and is filled with medieval architecture and historic monuments. Characterized by winding streets and squares, its old town has several Romanesque churches, and many shops and bars line the avenues, and don’t be surprised to wander upon a charming piazza right out of the blue! Extending over four kilometers, the city walls that have protected Kotor for centuries lead up to the fortress of Saint Ivan. Montenegro would not be complete without sampling the local cuisine, and fresh seafood is always on the menu.
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Established 1,300 years ago on the far southern tip of the Dalmatian Coast, this city once rivaled Venice in terms of its importance. Dubrovnik offers individuals a choice among numerous museums and galleries. Prepare to be riveted when first laying eyes on the old walled city. Regardless of whether you are visiting Dubrovnik for the first time or the hundredth, the sense of awe never fails to descend when you set eyes on the beauty of the old town. It offers limestone streets, baroque buildings and the endless shimmer of the Adriatic, and the extended hours of our cruise allows time to explore the city by night. The ancient city walls had protected the capital of a sophisticated republic for centuries.
Olympia (Katakolon), Greece
This small port is your gateway to Ancient Olympia, home of the original Olympic games. Katakolon is a small town, with many shops, bars, and good seafood restaurants. On the top of a hill are the ruins with a fort. Soak up the gorgeous waterfront views while savoring traditional Greek specialties, like pastitsio or moussaka.
Sicily (Messina), Italy
Gateway to Mt. Etna, the awe-inspiring and still-active volcano, the seaport of Messina is the third-largest city in Sicily. Known for its fine cathedral, museums and for its rich Sicilian wines, Messina and the surrounding area was also the location for much of the Godfather series of films. An afternoon or a day in Messina can include a drive up to the windswept side of Mt. Etna or to the shop-lined streets of Taormina.
Naples, Italy and the Amalfi Coast
Naples and its surrounding area offer a perfect mix of cultural and natural attractions. Naples is home to world-class museums and attractions, superb restaurants, eclectic shopping, a thriving contemporary art scene and an edgy, vibrant street life. But don’t miss the splendid scenery that graces the surrounding areas of Naples and the legendary drive along the Amalfi Coast lined with quaint picturesque villages. Nearby is Mount Vesuvius, the still-active volcano that destroyed the Roman town of Pompeii, which provides fascinating touring. And since pizza was invented in Naples, you must try a slice!
Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy
La Spezia is a port city in Liguria, Italy. The hilltop St. George’s Castle houses an archaeological museum with artifacts from the prehistoric Middle Ages. Visit museums with paintings and bronze sculptures. Timeless treasures are around every corner in Florence, a 1 1/2-hour drive from La Spezia. Sights include the Duomo, Giotto’s Bell Tower, Michelangelo’s David, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. In Pisa see the Tower, leaning but still standing, after 650 years.
